This club offers world class jazz every night of the week. Ellis Marsalis, father of Branford and Wynton Marsalis, can be found here most Friday nights. Singer Charmaine Neville, of the famous New Orleans music family, performs most Monday nights. They also have a restaurant, but it is seperate from the jazz club. If you want to eat dinner here before the show, you will need to call for reservations and pre-purchase tickets to the show. They don't normally don't accept dinner reservations without pre-purchased tickets so their patrons can enjoy a full evening of dining and jazz.

This is the only microbrewery located in the French Quarter. They offer an outstanding selection of New Orleans nouvelle cuisine to go with their house brews. Founded by a German Brewmaster, all beers are brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. In addition to the four standard brews, they have a Special Brew featured each month. They have live jazz every night.

Preservation Hall was founded in 1961 strictly for the purpose to preserve New Orleans Jazz. There is no bar or air conditioning, just jazz. Shows run every night from 8:00pm to 11:00pm, but the line often starts forming an hour before the show, so get there early.

In addition to traditional jazz, The Spotted Cat features a variety of live music including blues, fusion, and Latin. The music starts at 6pm and there are always at least two bands performing each night.
